1. Introduction to Godly Play® - Fanny Benitez
The Godly Play® method is a curriculum of spiritual practice exploring the mystery of God’s presence in our lives. Godly Play practice teaches us to listen to God and to make authentic and creative responses to God’s call in our lives. Children have an innate sense of the presence of God. The Godly Play approach helps them to explore their faith through story, to gain religious language and to enhance their spiritual experience through wonder and play. The best way to know what Godly Play is, is to experience it, so in this workshop, we will go through a typical session with all its elements and share impressions afterwards.
2. Interactive workshop on Soul Care - Paul and Elizabeth Musser
“A Rule of Life, very simply, is an intentional conscious plan to keep God at the center of everything we do.” -Peter Scazzero
3. Three Spiritual Practises to Focus on God - Janneke und Jelle Huisman
In this workshop we give you three tools to develop and strengthen your spiritual life.
4. Spiritual Disciplines - Coming back to the heart of the Father - Christoph Schabauer
We live in a world that seems to turn faster and faster. Often there are days we are confronted with more information than we can process. The needs and demands of our ministry can be overwhelming too. All that makes it hard to stay focused on the things God has in mind for us. Looking at the devotional life of Jesus and many of our church fathers we see what helped them to stay in a vital relationship with our God through a sometimes very challenging life. We will see principles that can help us to abide in Him daily and to trust in Jesus. He is not just the founder of our faith but will also help us to finish our run well.
5. Prayer Time Lectio Divina - Peter and Maria Biber
During our time together, quiet music will be played in the background.
A passage of scripture will be read aloud.
We let the Word speak to us as we listen.
We will wait in silence to hear what God has to say to us.
We will respond to what God is saying.
We remain in God’s presence and worship.
We will close our time with some worship songs.
Our desire is to leave our time together, strengthened for our everyday lives.
