Biblical Lament: the Art of Being Real with God
Sometimes within Christian communities, there’s a feeling that we need to hide our “negative” emotions from one another, or even from God. There are large portions of Scripture that are devoted to lament, yet it’s often something that is misunderstood and not talked about by the Church. If we don’t understand lament, then we aren’t understanding a big section of the Bible. Come learn how being open and honest with God ultimately leads us to worship.
TCK Parents workshop
This is a time for parents to come and connect.
We will explore a bit on what it means to be a TCK, and give some tools on how to care for one, but most of all I'd like us to connect together.
Some of you have a TCK that just started walking, others have TCK's that are working their way through school.
My hope for this time is for us to encourage each other in parenting our TCK's.
Mental Resilience
In this workshop we will explore four areas of mental resilience: healthy thinking, gratitude, purpose, physical health. We will look at these four areas to understand how they impact our ability to be resilient. You will also be given a few simple tools to help you grow in resilience.
